More screens
Hello again, I'm back with some more screens for World In Danger. An a bit of a status report.

The last two weeks have been great for progress on the game, because I had enough spare time to do some great work on the game. Just yesterday I finished putting the limitations on the weapon selection menu. Aswell as fixed chapter 2 and chapter 7 of the story to be completely playable and already containing a large part of the eventual music it needs.

As I said before I'm really happy on how the gameplay turned out. Especially the bosses are really fun to play, I myself can't stop enjoying them each time I play it. And with a large set of available weapons and melee possibilities everytime I can play and fight the boss(es) with different tactics. It's really something to look forward to.

One thing that should be made clear is that altough the game is graphicly on the same level as a Gameboy Advance game. It does require a pretty good spec computer to play smoothly. I've been playing it on a 3.2 Ghz P4 with 1024mb RAM, which plays it smoothly. I've also test played it on an 1.5 Ghz P4 256mb RAM and that works aswell, it just takes alittle longer between loading each map.

And as promised some more screens!
I know that even tough they're are two playable characters, I've only shown screens of Colt. So here is one of the other character: Neo "Rocket" Nace aswell.
You also see that two screens contain the same level but different a different character as hero. This is one of the level where you can pick which character you want to play. About half of the level have this option, the other half doesn't do to the story.

My extra spare time ends this weekend so progress on the game won't be as fast as it has been the last two weeks. But I'll keep working on it every chance I get. I too feel that I'm really close to completing this two year long lasting project.

Till next time.

EDIT: 30-07-2007
Heres an extra screen of the Thrid chapter of the game, which take splace in Miami. It's also one of two chapter which I already had a music track prepared for. Namely the Original Soundtrack of the movie: "Bad Boys" by Marc Mancina (music composer, he's not this movies director).
I remixed the music to be inpar with the scenes in the game aswell as the levels. And considering it had the biggest ammount of preperation in the music area, it's one of the best sounding levels of the game. So look forward to it.

Next time will be an new update, I'm hoping to show some more of chapter Four and Five. For chapters Six and Seven, I won't show any screens at all. All the material in those chapters is heavally story related and I really don't want to spoil anything for anyone.
